Does anyone have problem finding fashionable riding wear, or doesn't it bother you?
I admit I'm the type of person who sulks when they realize so and so only comes in pink in child size!

Just wondering if anyone could recommend me some brands or sites?
I want something cute and colorful that isn't for a 5 year old if you know what I mean ha.

For an example I really like this type of hoody - long and casual
http://www.kpequestrian.com/proddetail.php?prod=L8831-RASP but not loving the colours so much...

The frustration makes me want to make my own equestrian brand - though that will probably only remain a dream unless I win the lottery! :(

There seems to be plenty of stuff out there trying to be fashionable riding wear, most of it doesn't manage it very well though! Personally I'd rather my riding wear was riding wear and I can buy fashion items for casual wear. Riding wear needs to be practical first and foremost.

ew. the KP range makes me shudder and cringe, but I have seen a lot of it in the bargain basements, so you could probably get a lot of very cheap KP stuff now.

I like Musto and Joules best, and I have a couple of fab pairs of denim saddlehugger jods I'm practically living in at the moment. :)

haha just a note I'm not a fan of the KP range its too tacky for my tastes.
I just liked the styling of the hoody its long enough to hide the top of my fatty thighs and has a cute collar but the colouring is awful - dark blue and pink seems to be her theme - not loving that very much.

I'm quite liking the Sherwood Forest brand - baby blue/baby pink with browns - its cute but not childish or tacky.
But its finding the right sort of styling that also doesn't cost a fortune - very hard ;_; maybe I'm just really picky haha

I love Goode Rider - they do fantastic denim breeches.

But for tops, no reason why they need to be from equestrian brands...actually I find it more fashionable if they're not...and I have total Joules fatigue...

Lots of places are having sales now, so stock up on gilets - they're a great way to add warmth without weight - and colour too!

I like Tottie's clothing, I have one of their tops and it is beautifully made and really pretty.

I've never heard of Goode Rider before so had a look on google, they look great! Some of the nicest denim jods I've seen but very expensive, a little out of my price range!

@Daisy: From where, Goode?

I'm in love with the jean jodhpurs on Goode lush but wayyyyy expensive plus isn't it a american site? Maybe when I win the lottery :(

Really liking the jean jodhpur look though, gonna try get some if I find any brands that are not too expensive.

For jackets and hoodies look no further than Ryedale, they are smart, hard wearing, wash well and are sensibly priced, £20 for a bomber style jacket which is warm and wears well. I bought a pair of Sherwood Foresr Jodhpurs, wore them once and sold them as they went baggy at the knees and were so thick and unflattering!! :( :(. :(
