Hi all, wondered whether anyone had any experience with feeding Fast Fibre or Speedi Beet? My mare is 19 and I'm looking for something to bulk out her feed over the winter. She is a very good doer and can be extremely hot so don't want anything that's going to blow her brain. She can also be very hot on linseed, and I know the Fast Fibre includes a small percentage. Has anyone fed Fast Fibre on their hot horse with success?

Many thanks

Have you considered simple systems beet?

Do you know she will eat mush? Mine wont really eat chaff if he has hay about so he gets his chaff in the AM before his net is put in but he won't eat mushy food.

Ah never heard of Simple Systems Beet so will have to look into that. Tried the chaff before haynet but still no luck

I find fast fibre useful for powder supplements, I only use a mug full. The amount of linseed is very small as it is the expeller, I.e. what is left after the oil has been removed.

I have a very hot headed mental lad and use fast fibre. I find it’s great for him and doesn’t make him worse where as other feeds have. Can highly recommend it. It’s great for adding his magnesium in too.

I think they are all different. My friends mad mare was no different even fed on oats! Yet others like mine would blow up. He goes mad on Alfalfa too😂
