.....because i'm very bored, fed up of not riding and missing days out eventing in the sunshine.

Despite having a pretty poo 2009 in general i've had a few good pics from competitions.....below is my favourite show jumping shot and favourite xc shot.

All other bored people feel free to add your pics so we all have something nice to look at. only one pic per discipline allowed though so you have to choose!!!!!!!!!

Thankyou. I got to ride him as OH not allowed to do prelims plus we were expecting fireworks so crash test dummy got plonked on board. Ending up winning the class.

Really is a lovely lad.
Not always a perfect pony though. All I did was ask for canter

Pony club showjumping at Gatcombe- an amazing day, we came 3rd and had a brilliant time

Dressage- when it finally clicked!

Mattingley XC- I love this pic as it shows woody finally relaxing into a cross country canter! He took ages to teach to learn to stretch out and relax in his canter rather than bounding up and down!
gorgeouswoody.jpg

BSJA at Manor farm- he was jumping really well that day

Showjumping - LOOK MUM I COULD BE A SHOWJUMPER AND PICK MY FEET UP

Eventing- Skipton nothing amazing but i like it
xcskip.jpg

And not really dressage but just because i like the shot - thinks it sums us up - I might be soaked but im still happy because we're about to go XC

Saratoga, upload them to photobucket, resize if necessary, and then copy and paste the IMG thingy under the pic.

i haven't got any dr pics uploaded, probably because none of them were pretty enough for my liking!

Just one from me - my second ever clear on Toby at PC Camp. He had been an enormous t**t all week, embarrassing me when he had been so good at rallies beforehand. Even though he will jump 3'3" at home, he such an arse at competitions I normally jump 2'6"-2'9 and 2'9"-3' and I usually get eliminated

crazy.gif
He had ONCE jumped clear at a 2'3" course but here he is, my last run of the season on him, jumping clear over a 2'6" course.

Please excuse RUBBISH position, I was more interested in getting him over the jump than style (or complete and utter lack thereof)

Thanks K!! Right, these ones are the best that i have on my computer...

First BE Novice with Wally, clear XC :-)

Mine is this one I think, we won the following test with 76%! It was the first time we broke the 70% barrier. She looks spanking gorgeous, nothing like the little ex racer she was when I got her.

These are tricky to choose. Ellie and Alice had an amazing yet very difficult year which ended badly but also on a high. These photos sum this up I think.
TSJ7.jpg

TSJ6.jpg

Triple clear area PC SJ- she'd had a nasty fall 2 weeks prevuiously at Stratford Hills and had broken her collarbone and was advised 8 weeks of total rest. She rode so well, and I was so proud of both her and Ellie.

XCT1.jpg

P7010249.jpg

Crap quality, but happy faces! Area qualifiers round the course where she broke her cb- she'd managed to convince herself it was ok because she could do the combination as two seperate parts because it was numbered seperately. The striding had been made longer, and was an A&B. Came 3rd and qualified.

P8170258.jpg

P8170273.jpg

PC Champs- lovely dressage despite very fizzy pony, a stunning clear SJ (only 10% of the field managed this!) and she rode like a star XC. Unfortunately Ellie broke down halfway round, and scans revealed she'd damaged her suspensory ligaments in both her hind legs. She's now recovering well, but A misses her terribly but we can only look back on the 18 months we had with her with lots of laughter and happiness despite the tough times.

Spread2.jpg

New horse- not a comp photo, but forgive me! He's absolutely Ellie's opposite, chilled, easy-to-do and absolutely massive (17hh to Ellie's 14.2hh). Hopefully he can continue A's journey with eventing, and next year will be just as good.

icestation - I jumped that fence

Favourite Dressage pic has to be this one, from Hambleden, it was Millie's best ever test:
DSC_0055.jpg

Show Jumping is again from Hambleden. Only pic of me where I actually look like I can ride!
DSC_0116_3.jpg

XC has to be Tweseldown right at the end, going into the water with Tam:
facebook-2.jpg

I look like a Twerp in all of them too, which always makes pictures more hilarious!

Well I have had 2 years of nightmare but this is the best of another dreadful season!

This is the horse I was lucky enough to be given the ride on. He was not easy but I feel he taught me a huge amount.

Splodge.jpg

Fave Dressage Nutwell Court ODE this year. She went beautifully but judge didn't agree! But then judge did mark everyone in class within 5% when they ranged from dreadful to very good!

IMG_2742.jpg

Fave SJ at Stockland Lovell ODE, was just far too easy for her and one of only 4 clears in our section!

IMG_9779.jpg

Fave xc one again all far too easy
grin.gif

IMG_9810.jpg

Lastly fave pic I have taken of a HHOer this year which was Lec (unfortunately it was also pouring with rain at the time which ruined the others completely!)

IMG_0618.jpg

Well I only got to three events this year due to time commitments- an Addington event day, Tweseldown unaff and Riding club area horse trials but quality not quantity we were placed at all three with double clears
smile.gif
! I only have non-prof photos from keysoe which was the riding club areas so they will be my best comp photos of 2009

No dressage because my photographer aka Dad didn't arrive in time for the "boring" bits
smirk.gif

Currently horse in dog house after jumping out the electric fence and taking herself for a long walk up a hill in the snow!

I don't have many pictures on my photobucket account, but I think this must be my favourite of the 2009 season. Unfortunatly it went downhill from this point! This pic is of Millie at Lincolnshire. Despite 12 sj pens we still came 7th as we were the only clear inside the time! Unfortunalty this was Millie's last event as she injured her back, so she is now in foal.

038.jpg

Has anybody had a good 2009?????? For me it was pretty awful with both horse and human injury issues! Hopefully 2010 will be better.................

gorg piccies!! i have sooo many of P from this yr but have NO idea how to upload them onto photo bucket???
Its always nice to see what everyone looks like, put a face to a name is what i mean!
grin.gif

This is my favourite one of me and Monty...he jumped really well this day, and it was the toughest course i have ever done, and the biggest! it was our first 1m10
smile.gif

open1m05.jpg

This is my favourite of Dani, was his first British Novice double clear, just before he ruptured his ligament. he jumped reallly well this day
smile.gif
i was mega pleased with him, bless him!

This is my favourite of Bugsy (although i dont actually have many of him...as havent had him that long, so werent many to choose from) but i do like this photo
