Favourite Gadgets...

Just wondering what gadgets, if any people most like to use. For lungeing or riding or both.
Qiute a few people i know really like Pessoa for lungeing and a harbridge for ridden or lungeing
So what do you use and why?

I have to say I like my draw reins, I use them as a lunging aid as Kerilli previously posted about, I also use them on my cob who seems to work so much better in them - NB I do NOT use them often but I find using them once in a blue moon really sharpens up his transitions and lateral work.
I also like my chambon and with my mare I use a martingale.

A harbridge it's great and has really helped my boy to stretch down and work over his back

draw reins occasionally. i like the fact they arent fixed, i can pick them up and put them down as needed

Harbridge for me - lunging and riding, really makes a difference & gets my mare working from behind in a really nice outline. I only use it for riding when she's hunting & needs a 'reminder' that she is a schooled horse that does dressage too. They are perfectly fine to use for riding & lunging as they only come into play when the horse comes above the bit.

I use draw reins on my old git once a week, as it reminds he what he is supposed to be doing, you see he forgets and prats about it at least once a week!

I try to use gadgets as little as possible but on occassion, I have used draw reins, but that's about it.

Think i may get a Harbridge for lungeing for the big lad

I don't use any currently but might try the lunging aid that kerilli demonstrated which is similar to the one Laura B uses.
I really don't like the pessoa.
