Favourite stallions

Who's your favourite stallion? You dont have to of used them, but if you had a choice to use any stallion free, who would it be????

We were chatting about this a few days ago! Here's the thread; What if.......

Although I think a lot of the stallions mentioned might be no longer living! For living stallions, and it also depends on the mare, I would choose Sandro Hit or Weston Justice.

That would have to be my old Welsh Cob (Gelded now so would have turn back time) Trostre Dafydd - by Brennin Dafydd. He was wonderful. Only bred about 12 foals in his whole life. Once of them went on to do Affiliated Dressage. Others made great family ponies and brought immense pleasure to their families. There are others that I haven't heard anything about sadly.

Welton Louis who is my mares' grandsire. Many years ago I rode for a woman and she had a fantastic spotted jumping stallion Wharfdale Kestrel who was such a gentleman and my youngsters' sire Merit who no-one seems to have used but I am going to use him again.
