FB sites advertising cheap Premier Equine rugs

Hi H&H Forum, Have any of you come across Georgie Equestrian on FB? Selling less than 1/2 price Premier Equine rugs. Sounds a good deal, but is asking for a deposit by Bank transfer. I would have been happy to do paypal, but a bit hesitant about sending money off to a complete unknown. I've PM'ed requesting info, but just thought I'd ask on here. TIA.

PE don't have anyone else retailing their rugs, so already smelling something fishy, especially this one with odd payment request, I would steer clear but also send PE this vendors details.

deposit paid by bank transfer? why would you pay a deposit? and by bank transfer? sound like a scam to me!

Sounds dodgy. Even if they are buying at trade They will be making a loss.

They do, I've seen them for sale in some shops. Albiet it rare. But yes this sounds dodgy!!

The same person is advertising this again tonight. Any idea what info would be needed to report to PE? Profile is blank so guessing there won't be much point screen shotting?

That definitely sounds dodgy.

If you want to get PE stuff cheaper than normal just go to Premier Equine's own Facebook page and you will see that they do their own great deals every week.

I might contact them and ask them if they have any 12'0" rugs in stock as my brontosaurus is very long backed.
