Feature for HORSE magazine - difficult characters in the horseworld

I am writing a feature for HORSE magazine on dealing with difficult characters in the horseworld. Have you ever faced a tricky situation, perhaps with a troublesome sharer, unreliable farrier, unreasonable livery yard owner, obstructive fellow livery, or unhelpful show organiser, for example?
