Fed up and misarable

I was due to be taking my horse to a show the weekend after next.It would of been for first show for about 15 years.Any way,10 days ago whilst turning my horse out he reared up and pulled away from me,and my finger got caught in the rope.He very nearly took my finger with him.On saturday i had to have an operation to repair the tendon and remove a blood clot, and now have my arm in a sling and lots of stitches in my finger.I now cant go to the show and im feeling very misarable.

that sounds really painful. I hope you're feeling better really soon. Just think, when you do get to do a show hopefully not too far away, it will be even more worth the wait

Healing vibes coming your way!

Is there any way of someone doing you a huge matey favour and getting your horse ready for you, taking you both and them showing it for you while you sit back admire your horse (and your friends hard work) while relaxing in the sunshine (or rain!)? suppose it depends on your situation but I know at the livery yard where I am, someone would have the cheek to ask and what's even better someone would actually be willing to help and enjoying doing it too...its great when your horsey friends are willing to pitch in and help so don't be afraid to ask, you never know someone might just want to help you out, just a thought hun!... get better soon and don't loose any fingers in the meantime!

Hope your finger recovers quickly from the operation and you can go to another show later in the year. Don't forget Tiverton Horse Show is on August 2nd. (I take the entries!)

May see you there then Haniki as Tiverton show filed is only a mile or so away from where i live!
My friends daughter is probably going to take him for me,but i know i shall go green!!!I was really looking forward to going and bringing back childhood memories!!!
