Fed up! Cant go to the yard...

To see my girls, im so fed up, i feel like cr@p! I got diagnosed with swine flu last night, one of my friends from the yard went and got my Tamiflu for me and she is looking after the girls for me. The Doctor has been twice to see me today as the flu has sent my asthma into overdrive and i couldnt breathe so once he had seen me he shot off and got his nebulizer from the surgery and came back, so thankfully i can breathe normally now, i now have Tamiflu, steroids and antibiotics!! just have flu symtoms now and i have to self isolate myself which isnt hard as my hubby is working away and his family are all in Turkey.
Pointless post but i really hate it when i cant see my girls

untill all my symptoms have gone doctor thought 7 days? now at least i can breathe i just feel fluey now but i can cope with that!
 
poor you, it seems to be sweeping through derbyshire like wildfire in the last few days. Give it a day or so and I'm sure I'll be joining you on the sofa.
 
you can come and stop with me!! Ive just done a online asda shop to be delivered in the morning, they are going to ring the bell dump the shopping and leg it!! lol i can lift it in when they have gone!
 
oh no! How did they determine it was actually swine flu?

We had a few right in our area when the initial outbreak hit and now a few weeks later you never hear of anyone having the actual swine flu anymore. (thankfully)


Hope you have a speedy recovery and are yourself again soon

Yes i kissed some right porkers!! lol but it was a long long time ago! Mr Right is currently near Plymouth and ive told him to stay there!! no point us both getting it!
 
Well, i was feeling all sorry for you, so wrote you a big long message. guess what, your pm box is full up. arrggghhh. go empty it please and i will try and remember what rubbish i wrote and do it again.
 
Its just like a dose of bad flu.... mine has just been worse as its sent my asthma silly, but now the doc has been with his nebulizer i can breathe ok. Its not as bad as the papers make out honest!!
 
Better to get it now before it starts mutating into something even worse. Hope you start feeling better soon
 
I know just how you feel, I'm the same, bored silly, worrying that the horses are behaving, and feel cr@p. Bloody swine flu! On the plus side for me the doctor came to check my chest as i have asthma too and although i'm breathing is not normal it's not my asthma.
 
Keltic off subject i know but what did you make your horses extensions with apart from horses hair lol as i am showing my 2 year old welsh in 2 weeks and he has rubbed out his mane and someone told me you made yours some
 
Yep not far hun. Me too we've got a rescue pony that has to have a calmer everyday to help his nerves but he seems to be playing up now I'm not there and won't go near anyone to get his apple with his calmer in. So I'm worried he's going to go back 10 leaps by the time i go back, he's been coming on soo good too

K and RR - if you need anything delivering/collecting/checking on, just yell - I'm just down the road from both of you (or near as dammit).
