Silly me thought after physio checked my mare last friday and could'nt find anything much wrong apart from query over left hind leg that i could finally get some riding done , having dealt with her ' settliing into new home ' issues since last july and waiting 8 weeks for a new fitted saddle , then the appalling icey weather .
Had vet check left hind leg today and do flexion tests , seems she is slightly lame behind and now it's off to the vets for a day for tests . could be kissing spine or suspensery problem , she is fine in herself which is the main thing , looks like i will be missing most of the long awaited summer , only time will tell what the future holds for us , did buy her as mother daughter share , daughter keen to do cross country and pony club . Only 9 horses at our yard and 5 of them all have problems at the moment , must be catching !
