Hi there!

We moved to a new livery yard earlier this year, there's about 10 acres and now 10 horses so zero room for rotation. We are still in our "winter" paddock and with the lack of rain our fields simply haven't recovered and even my New Forest who usually lives on fresh air is not looking as well as he usually would at this time of year, we are supplementing with hay where we can but we are now getting grief from the YO about them starting to chew the fencing, probably through bordem due to the insufficient grazing. I've never supplemented with hay at this time of year let alone considered a hard feed but looking at him, he needs something at least.

I was just hoping to get some advice on what to feed to make sure he's getting the necessary nutrients as he won't be at the moment with the lack of grazing and a bit of a tummy filler!? He's not usually fed hard feed.

Thank you :)
