I have an 8 yr old TB gelding. He is in light/medium work, out 8 hours a day and has 4 sections of hay a night. His weight is fine but does need toning. He has had a bit of time off over winter so I'm sure that returning to work will add topline sufficiently.
He is currently fed 1 scoop of molichop calmer and a small jug of baileys lo cal balancer. I also add oil and MSM. He has this am and pm.
He previously fizzed up as the spring grass came through and don't want the same to happen this year.
So advice wanted on whether you think this is too much/not enough and when would you consider reducing feed ready for spring grass would be great
