Feed advice please :)

Hi all, just looking for abit of advice on what to feed my ponio.

Hes rising 3 section D currently about 14 3, hopefully will make 15 2.

Anyhow... I want something to keep him in maintain decent condition that hes in now for the showing season yet don't want to give him something that will blow his head or pile on the weight.

Currently on a handful of local feed stores basic mix and herbal chop and the odd carrot to help with his teething

Just been looking at the top spec website looking at the lite stuff, anyone else use it?

Yep, I've used Top Spec for years. It's the best balancer there is IMO. I use the Lite on my WB/TB X and he always looks great. He's also a good doer so doesn't get a lot of hard feed. He is quite a fussy eater but loves all the Top Spec feeds.

I feed both my natives SS feeds, 1 bag of Lucie Nuts lasts for months Its just a type of Lucern ( alfalfa ) nothing else in it at all, I presume at 3 he is unshod? I would just feed a soaked handful of this and a multi vit and min ( I use D&H everday one in a red tub)

Simple Systems uses natural grasses and sugar beet as a feed. It is good for weight gain with no fizz. My friend uses it for her 20 yr old TB who trust me does not need an excuse to have a moment. SS helpline will help design a feed using their products to suit your horse.

Another for suregrow. Have used it on all my youngsters. They always looked great on it.
