Feed and vaccinations?!

I have the vet coming out to vaccinate Red in the morning, and I'm having a total blonde moment- am I right in thinking I'm not to feed him an hour before/after the vaccs?? Or have I just completely made that up?
Last years vaccination if literally had him a month and it was a total blur lol (first horse).

never heard that before....and ive had horses for over 4o years. it may be a new thing ? my horse doesnt go without food before or after vacc.and she has survived to 22 years of age...

Maybe it is excercise after vaccs that you are getting muddled up with?!

Certainly never heard about not feeding before/after vaccs x

I think you're probably right, been thinking maybe it was exercise lol.
Not that that matters anyway, the sod has pulled a shoe! 😒
