Feed Balancer - Equilibra 500

After deciding my boy is better off Blue Chip then on it, we are looking for a new feed balancer.

Has anyone had any negative experience of Equilibra?

I havent but my friend thinks it great. I use baileys low cal balancer, my horse a TB does well on this.

I won a bag, gave it in a normal feed and my horse wouldn't eat it, tryed a few times to feed it but horse kept refusing to eat, fussy moobag! I gave it to a friend with a poor TB and she said it did make a difference, but apart from that sorry can't help.

A couple of friends swear by it but it's got too much cereal in it for my liking (40% oats & I have a horse that gets ulcers). But then I wouldn't feed Blue Chip either as that's 60% wheat - I'm a feed geek! I use Top Spec balancers & have been very impressed with them.

my chap had it for a bit, worked ok, in terms of conditoning, but did (due to the content) make him a little bit fizzy!! now i feed benevit advance a good chaff speedibeet!! its a pain trying to keep weight on tb without adding extra sparkle!!!!!
