Feed Balancers

I am looking at various diiferent feed balancers to give to my horse for maintained condition & muscle tone yet incresase his energy and stamina. All the brands seem to claim similar advantages...does anyone have a feed balancer they would recommend for these things??

Hi,

I would recommend Top Spec. I have used Top Spec on 2 horses (Blue Chip made no difference to my old TB), my current horse is a good doer warmblood so I can't give him much hard feed.

I get constant compliments on how fab he looks. Although everyone has their favourites, its not an easy choice. You could try speaking to Nicola Tyler at Top Spec she is really helpful.

top spec and dobson and horrell in vitamin and mineral analysis comparison are very very similar

D & H don't seem to push their feed balancer very much, which is a shame as it is good, but it is just one of a range of feeds for them.

Top Spec specialise in feed balancers and I have fed them for years. The Lite is supposed to be similar to Baileys LoCal, but with a higher specification.

I think you get what you pay for in some respects.
