Found a second hand Galvanised Feed Bin 4 foot x 2 foot on Ebay thats going for £41 at the mo and thought it was quite a good deal. Does anyone know if you can buy anything better/cheaper before I put a bit on!

Thanks

For less than that price you could buy several plastic/rubber dustbins if you have the room for them or what about an old chest freezer which you might pick up for nought?! I've used one that size for the last five years and it's still going strong and holds five bags (tipped in, not in the sack) as I hate keeping feed in bags, they're so fiddly!
Also, is it near you or are carriage terms reasonable?

We have bins at the mo but someone has sticky fingers

so want to lock everything away. Also the bins are round and we dont have much space and they dont fit on our pallet very well.

Freezer - now theres an idea. Is yours sectioned off or do you mean you just tip 5 bags of the same feed in it

ETS - bin is in Cambs which isnt far for collection.

Why do you have to tip the feed out? I have a fairly small galvanised water tank with a peice of wood on top and I have three different bags of feed in there with all his oil and supplements. However, there is someone who delivers feed weekly so I don't have to worry about where to put unopened bags.
