Equisorb £6.74 £7.25 0.51

as you can see i was a little bored this afternoon

Frogpool are always horrendously expensive for feed. I went there one day to get some stuff from the tack shop and thought I'd pick up a couple of bags of feed whilst I was there. Was shocked when I got to the checkout to find it was £1 a bag more expensive than my usual supplier!

Same with speedi beet!!

Well not really they always add more up here as they blame the cost of getting it here!!

Mine is £11.25, I just took advantage of an offer of buy one get one half price.

I can get it cheaper but it means travelling further to get it. The big feed store I use is right next door to my yard

Be prepared for it all to go up again... I had a letter this week from Dengie regarding increasing their prices.

Bran has increased by £1.35 a bag this week, and even basic sugar beet pellets have shot up in price, Allen & Page and Topspec have gone up, and all our basic foodstuffs which we collect from a local farm to keep the price down, also livestock feed has increased a lot.

Please bear in mind your feed merchant is increasing prices because the wholesaler has increased them, and therefore the end user has increased them! The theory that feed merchants are loaded isn't true (well, not in my case!) as a rule of thumb, we make £1 a bag on feed. Bear in mind that most wholesalers want payment on delivery, and therefore feed can be sat around for a few months, by the time you rip a couple of bags, or feed goes out of date, selling feedstuffs doesn't make much profit!
