which is better

spillers : stud and youngstock mix

OR

dodson & horrell : mare and youngstock mix

have used both, was using spillers but having trouble with suppliers now i have arranged with a supplier to get dodson and horrell.

for my yearling, mare and newborn so a little mixture

They are totally different feeds. Spillers is meant for TB/WB types (poor doers) whereas DH is meant for natives etc (good doers)

The D & H does have a higher digestable energy content compared to the Spillers tho, you could always try the D&H stud diet, which is different again! I have used both in the past, not a huge amount to choose between the stud diet and the Spillers imo!

We would always use D & H in preference to any other manufacturer - simply the best!
