16.3hh 6 year old MW ISH, in light to medium work (ridden 4-5 times a week, 2 x flatwork, 1 x jumping, 2 x hacking inc road work, hills and fast work).
Currently on one large scoop Hi Fi and one small scoop Fibre Cubes, three times a day. Two large haylege nets. Turned out for 4 hours a day, albeit on poor grazing. Does windsuck after feeding but no obvious signs of ulcers.
Weight is currently fine, doesn't seem particularly prone to weight gain (although if on better grazing he might). General condition - coat etc - excellent.
Want to feed for a bit more oomph, and to ensure energy for more jumping and XC. Is prone to being rather lazy and 'flat', and although his stamina is improving with fitness, he's never going to be an endurance horse.
Any suggestions?
