they have totally different requirements so you arent going to find one feed for both horses.
she would be best on stud cubes and the chaff, if shes hard too keep the weight on.
if she starts to get too fat on this i would swap a portion of the cubes for a stud balancer-baileys have this system with their stud range.thus ensuring she doesnt get over fat but still gets the required minerals vitamins and quality protein.this stud feed is also suitable for the foal too.
the TB doesnt need stud cubes!lol.if he is dropping weight on the alfa a oil and beet i would add in a conditioning mix that is non heating-liike calm and condition.also try him on haylage rather than hay and try to get access to some grass as soon as possible as this is the best way to help put some weight on.

My TB does great on 8hrs turnout a day, a scoop of Ride & Relax with half a scoop of Dengie Hi-Fi followed by half a bale of hay a night. Having said that, she is a an Irish TB! (another Irish TB advocate hehe!)

they are both out on super grass 10hrs daily, she keeps weight well but both get fizzy on cereal based feeds, thats why i feed just alfa-a oil and alfa-beet. Both are fed as much good quality hay as they will eat?? thanks

Finni is a TB who drops lots of weight in winter - but this year has been fine as has had Soya oil (one cup divided between 2 feeds) and Bailey's No. 2 (working horse cubes - 1 & 1/2 scoop per day) + SB and Chaff.

No fizzing - had bit of prob with topline cubes.

Also now on Pink Powder - seen difference in past week.

Def recommend Soya oil though - relatively cheap too £5 for big thing of it
