Feed/supplement for coat, mane, tail

Hi

My part loan is just on Mollichaff calmer 😕He's a good doer so can't gave anything too fattening. His coat's at bit staring and flat though, and his mane/tail is brittle and course ( doesn't grow very long.) He does have good hard hooves though and isn't shod. Any supplements/treatment/feed I can encourage owner to give him? Thanks

Hi yes I've heard linseed is great but I thought it was fattening? Thanks x how much do you guys feed? He's a solid 15.2 Arab and getting fat on spring grass! He's already in a starvation paddock at night at the moment x
