Feed times

I was wondering how long before "bed time" i should feed my black lab puppy so shehas enough time to do her business in the back garden before going to bed for the night to reduce accidents through the night.

I fed my Jonna's puppies last meal of the day at 20.00 in the evening, and from the end of week 6 and untill the puppies were "saleable" at 8 weeks of age (according with SKK rules), there were only a few mornings were there was an peeing-accident during the night and none of the other sort, as I remember it.


But for instance, most/some puppies that just have became 6 weeks, are simply not meant to be able to control themselves a whole night. Then it matters how late you go out for the last time of the day, how early you go out the first time? I went out the last time some time between 22 and 24(/00) and they woke up around 05 or at least before 06.

On other hand, I've bought puppies before that haven't been able to keep themselves a whole night, until some time after 8 weeks of age.
