Feed to promote hoof growth

Highland pony, good doer, having winter off and running on 70 acres of hill so plenty to eat but want to give him something extra as trying to grow out a big abscess hole in his foot. Usually give him small amount of speedi beet and chaff, unsure wether to add biotin or top spec balancer, any ideas?

Add some micronised linseed. Your ponies are very very handsome. Are they all highlands? Is one an andalusian?

Thanks yes they are all highlands, some just youngsters.
Will linseed not put on too much condition?
