Feed...What would you do?

Evening people. I have got a very quick question to ask, hopefully you could give me some ideas and answers but...

What would you feed a ex-race horse which is fizzy?

[Basically the pony need's to calm down an octive!]

I feed my ex racer a tbsp of magnesium oxide once a day to take the edge off her

It depends on what you are currently feeding and if it needs to gain weight.
I would give ad lib hay/haylage/grass and a high fibre feed such as Fast Fibre as a starting point.
