What to feed?!

I have a Tbx, 15 and 16.1. Shes my mums horse and just got back from loan and has been gifted to me :D

Anyway, loan home fed her on mollichaf veteran and Highlight basic mix, quarter of a scoop of each twice a day, hay and winter grass. Shes only been in light work for the past couple of months due to loaners injury and no work for the past 3 weeks while we sorted out travel etc.

My main concern is she is going to be a bit mental when i bring her back into work after too much sugar and feed??? Should i carry on with this as will be riding in the week or a less energy diet?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

all of our horses are on allen and page soaked feeds and they love them! the reason i changed at the beginning was because of my mare having a serious choke. so she's on veteran vitality, my youngster is on calm and condition, which is good for putting weight on and keeping them care and my friends mare is on cool and condition, which will put on less weight but still non heating!

you can get advice on the allen and page website and they sent me a money off voucher and a free sample when I enquired a few months back!

What is her behaviour like on the ground, does she seem fizzy? What is her condition like? There are so many factors which affect a horse that really the only people who can comment properly are those who deal with it every day.
I always prefer to keep feed simple and feed grassnuts with dried grass chaff and add speedibeet if necessary. IMO you just need to remember that if you do decide to make changes, you should do so gradually.
