Feeding a foal that won't eat hard food

Help... I have recently had a foal arrive from stud but she will not eat hard food she has been weaned for 10 weeks and the stud did not give her any hard feed at all. Her condition is ok but, I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to get her eating

The best way is to feed her companion and let them share, the foal should soon learn as she usually would have done by sharing with mum, you need to ensure the other one will be kind by being there to supervise or even having one on a rope but it shouldn't take too long for her to start nibbling at the feed then you can feed separately.
