Feeding a Shetland

Hi, i leave my mini shetland out 24/7 he as carrots and apples at night just as a treat the grass is quite good,should i be feeding anything else,like vits and min thanks

No! We give our mini shetalnd extra hay in the winter only - and a little bit of hifi when worming to make sure she swallows it and doesn't spit it out (crafty little minx!). They are built to exist on nothing and do very well on it!

If your shetland looks well and not too fat I wouldn't change a thing.

I would say just a mineral block but not one with molasses. Rockies do one with chelated minerals and salt. They weigh about 10kg, so will probably last a shetland a whole year but they only cost about £9.
