My 4 yo is going through a quite substantial growing phase, he is bum high by maybe 2 or so inches and I want to make sure he has enough vits and mins

He is currently on baileys lo cal balancer and a small amount of quality haylage plus some not so good quality grazing. He is a good doer and I don't want him to get fat. Spillers suggest going back onto stud balancer for a while, does anyone have any other suggestions? Is spillers the best stud balancer or are others better?

Is he thin or looking poor? If not, I'd leave him to it; very few horses in this part of the world are lacking anything serious, quite the opposite in fact.

No he's not thin, just about right at the min and will prob be on the 'looking well' side as won't be getting worked over the next few weeks because of my work timetable.

I just want to make sure he gets everything he needs vit / min wise
