Feeding advice for my thoroughbred!

Was just looking at some advice on what to feed my thoroughbred, he is a 6 year old,16.2hh. He is ridden roughly 4 times a week due to school commitments, however sometimes he can be a little lazy. What is best to feed him?

Assuming he is at his optimum weight and you are maintaining him, I would give him ad lib hay or haylage, with a bucket feed of decent brand pony cube, hand full of chaff, speedibeet and an all round min/vit supplement. That is by far the cheapest way to feed him, but there are many other brands/types of bagged feed you could use.
