So, as I have had to start feeding Haylage for now I need to cut calories in other areas....

Can anyone gives me a rough idea in laymans terms of the kind of 'calories' that I am putting into her with fast fibre?

Micronised linseed?

I am thinking of cutting her down to just a half mug of Ff per day whereas she had been on 3 and I wonder if I should just cut the micronised altogether? She is on one mug a day OR is it worth the nutritional benefits over the calories it will give?

Ideally I want to feed her no bucket feed but she does need to have her pro balance, fennel, joint supp and yea sacc......

Help?

Thanks KK, yes I guess I am asking what's my lowest calorie possible option and whether cutting the ML will be cutting enough calories to make it worth it or whether I should stick to it for the other benefits...

I have been looking for a straw based unmollassed chaff but the nearest I can get locally is Hifi Molasses Free which - like all Dengie chaffs - has alfalfa.
I would stick with Fast Fibre (as I have done). It's not high in energy and great for mixing supplements in.
