Hi,
I got my 13yo TBx mare in March and inherited some sadly neglected teeth. We're now on a every-three-months visit from the EDT and so they're coming round slowly but she doesn't chew very well and he says everything is shooting through her because of this (she can be quite sloppy behind).
My dressage instructor thinks I need to give her a bit of something to give her some ooomph, not much but some. She does lack condition a bit but not too poor. She's currently just on chop and a cupful of working horse and pony nuts.
He's suggesting calm and condition type feed.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks
