Max is 19 TB, very well and in super condition. (more like a 4 year old!) He is currently fed a scoop of Calm and Condition and a scoop of chaff, along with his suppliments.
Problem is.......He's getting fat!!
He is worked most days and theres no grass in the field, so I dont see how he could be putting on weight!

Could the Calm and Condition be contributing?
Is there anything else we could feed him? But it has to be summut that wont make him fizzy!

Just reduce what you're giving him???

I'm always playing round with Thumper's feed. Either increasing or decreasing it according to how he looks.

I'v just cut my TBs feed down. He was on half scoop soaked calm and condition and a scoop of alfa a plus supplements. However I'v now cut him down to a quarter of a scoop of calm and cond. and a scoop of alfa a. He's a good weight however last week got very fizzy which I'v put down to the spring grass.

Just reduce the C&C until he's right. If he's still too fat then start to reduce the chaff. Spring grass should be on its way so he might be getting all he needs from that? Some competition horses are fed just on fibre so it shouldn't do him any harm!
