Looking for some advice on how to help my mare make they most out her feed. She looks a good weight but I feel she should be doing better vitality wise when I read up in whats included in the balancer.
She has top spec senior, micronised linseed and unmollased beet. Do you think it would be better to feed all the balancer in one feed and then all the beet in another? Currently it's split between two feeds together but as beet is a fibre feed/forage it will be digested in the hind gut and I am wondering if due to this she isn't processing the balancer as she should a nd its getting pushed through before being made the most of? Opinions please?

I would split everything so every feed is the same

Most feeds are worked out on a recommended daily amount which will take in to account multiple feeds and its less chance of a problem if feeds arent varying
