Ok so i now have a very slight 14.2hh welshie who needs building up!!

Apart from lots of forage i tihnk she needs a nice bit of vits and mins.

What should i look at feed-wise?

I was going to opt for blue chip?

Naf pink powder contains lots of vits and minerals as well as pro-biotics.
It worked a treat on my underweight horsey who is now definitely not underweight!

We use dengie alfa beet to fatten our welsh trouble maker up. High in fibre and low in sugar. We feed it with safe&sound which has vits added and high fibre nuts and she looks and feels great. This diet has managed to put weight on her with out risking laminitus (which she is prone too)

i had this problem with my welsh cross just a month or so back, he's now on D & H safe and sound and looks great on it, if fed in correct amounts it has plenty vits and mins for recommended daily allowance, i was thinking on something to build him up along with it but he's doing really well on just that alone!

Mine is a bit light at the moment too but as the spring grass is starting to come through I'm keeping the feed level as it is.

I think this one is lacking some good old vits and mins to be honest- she will need some adding to her diet as currently shes been on no hard feed at all and very low quality grass.

YO is feeding hers (sections A, B and D's) those pasture stick treats that give them all the vits etc without upping their feed. Her's are a bit porky tho...
