Feeding advice

I would like to feed my mare something over the winter that will give her a little bit more 'oomph' but not make her go mad, at the moment she is fed chaff and cool mix, but over the winter she will be competing quite a bit so i will need to make her wake up a bit. Thanks

Spillers slow release cubes, if you notice i've got a couple of threads on feed and have been looking into it for the same reason. Also, have just recently spoken to someone who uses them (they swapped from cereal feed) and have had good success

Tiger oats are fantastic. All the omph of oats but no starch so much healthier and no fizz
