I am quite confused about feeding, I have a Dutch Warmblood X and got him in January, hes doing really well and has put on weight which is good. I just wanted to make sure I am feeding correctly though! At the moment he has two feeds a day, a scoop of Hi-Lite, Baileys Top Line Conditioning Mix, Corn Oil, Garlic and a handful of pony nuts. Should I be adding more? He was on Haylage but he has SO much grass at the moment i feel its not needed.

He is rising 5 and wondered if he was actualy receiving enough vitimins and minerals from this feed. Wondered if anyone could enlighten me and point me in the right direction. Many thanks

I think it would depend mostly on what you are doing with him. Obviously youve put the weight on - are you looking now to muscle up or are you just maintaining him at the moment?

I can reccomend alpha a oil - I found that worked well with the Baileys. And I believe the oil in it will work well with the oil you are supplementing him with...although dont quote me Im no nutritionist!!
