Feeding Aloe Vera, how much?

How much Aloe juice have you fed in order to notice a difference? Or how much are you supposed to give a 500kg horse?

I think I gave the Draft mare, who weighed at least 800 kg, 30 ml. We used the cap off the Holland & Barrett bottle to measure and gave her a capful.

Wow, that's really not so much. I gave it to my TB years ago (15 years ago or so) and couldn't recall the amount. A friend asked about so I figured it was worth asking. Thanks.

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question! But what do you give aloe vera for?

Ulcer prevention, it's been clinically tested and proven to help heal ulcers. I give it to any horse that even looks like it might be thinking one day about getting ulcers

Washing machine liquid caps are good measures, the standard ones have a line in them at 25ml and are full at 35ml.
