We have just got a new pony. She is a 13.2hh Welsh section B and is 21 years old.
I started feeding her Top spec senior lite about 3 weeks ago when she came as she was a little underweight. She is out 24/7 in a field that hasn't been used over the winter and has lots of good grass in it.
She is now looking in good condition but has gone a bit jumpy/ spooky the last week.
She is only in very light work and I'm wondering if it is the spring grass and settling in and that she is just feeling well or if it could be the balancer?
I'm just giving her the balancer to ensure she gets all her vits/mins but will swap or stop if it's causing the spooky behaviour.
Thanks for any advice!
