Has or does anyoneone feed baileys number 4?
If so, what reasons for feeding it and with what results please.
Also what else do you feed it along side?
Thank you.

Yes I feed it to my thoroughbred x arab
I feed it to maintain his condition over the winter as he can drop weight easily
and when fed this he always looks great.
He also gets sugarbeet and hifi light

Yep, feed it to a 16.2 TB because it's the only thing he'll take the time to eat before being turned out in the morning . Feed no 4 in the morning and power & performance in the evening. He's looking very well on that combo, and he's not the easiest to keep weight on, so a big thumbs up from me. He won't eat anything alongside the baileys though, so he gets it alone!

I have just put my little arab x back on it due to her just coming back from a loan and having lost alot of condition. I find it works a treat as she is quite hard to feed as most things go to her head!

I put my 15.2 TB on it when I bought him as he was in poor condition and I wanted to build him up as it was winter. It worked a treat but I dont need to use it now for him as I monitor his condition daily and adjust his diet accordingly :)

I fed it with Alfa A and sugarbeet

Thanks for all the replies so far.......
I have just put my sons 15hh nfxtb hunter on it.His front end looks really good,You cant see his ribs, but can feel the last one,but as soon as you look at his hind quarters,he looks like he needs more topline and condition.
I know my son and i are probably to blame in this,as we would not be the most up together riders!!So i was recommended baileys number 4..............and my son and i must ride properly, and not be so sloppy!!!

In the winter Fleur has Baileys No 14 (lo cal balancer) and in summer in addition to 14 she has No4.

She can't tolerate Barley but needs to maintain condition and have the energy in summer to event. As a combination they were perfect last year.

My 2 rising five year olds are on it and looking well. I have tried changing their diets and haven't found anything else to suit them, they really don't need any extra energy and with No 4 I can change it according to their condition. My older eventer goes onto it when he starts dropping condition too. I hope it will help the youngsters fill out.
