feeding benson?

OK boys on box rest I'm worried if i over feed he will get fat so am i feeding him 2 much?
he has
Scoop of chaff
Antibiotics
Scoop of pasture mix
Supplement
Bute
2 filled hay nets (half a small bale)
Golden syrup to hide antibiotics

ive never had a hors eon box rest so this is all new to me!
ive also hidden carrots and apples round his stable

Hi,

I would cut the mix right down to a handful as he won't really need it. If I have my horses on box rest I tend to just feed a tiny amount so they think they have been fed while the others on the yard are.

just have him on the chaff and the medication he needs!
