I am feeding my IDx Hunter boiled linseed for weight gain.

I am currently putting 1/2 - 3/4 mug of raw linseed into the slow cooker with 2-3 mugs of water and cooking it over night. I take about 2 table spoons out for the dog and the rest is split between 2 feeds. Does this sound like enough for weight gain?

Thoughts appreciated from any other boiled linseed users.

I feed ready cooked linseed (get it from local feed store) my lad is 17hh and I feed roughly a small handful in each feed morning and evening. This has put weight on him perfectly. When he's up to weight I usually give him maybe 1/4 - 1/2 handful in each feed as it helps him maintain weight.
