I've just got the 1.25kg bag of equishure to try as ulcer horse is still really grumpy lunging and generally reluctant to move 3 weeks in to peptizole so want to rule out hindgut problems! I am feeding 60g of the equishure but I don't go in the morning so having to put both scoops in evening tea and mix it up as I was told not to leave it in a damp bucket overnight so I have two questions:

1. Is it really bad for him to just be having it in one feed or should he have it between both?

2. I'm worried about this no mixing thing, I know it seems silly but I put it on top tonight and he snorted at his bucket and sulked at the back of the stable until I mixed it in and held it for him (such a princess) so is it ok to mix it in a little bit as long as he gets it straight away?

Apologies for the dense question, it's my first time dealing with anything like this! Thanks :)

Not sure about first question as I always split between 2 feeds, but I mix mine into a damp feed, I just make sure I feed it soon after mixing it up. It still works for me so I assume it's fine!
