Feeding for energy and condition

i feed my 6 year old TBx shire blue chip pro, speedi beet and slow release energy nuts. He gets worked quite hard during the season though and really struggle to keep weight on him.
Seems to work quite well. Only feed the speedi-beet to encourage him to eat his feed as is very fussy!

Another vote for the Allen and Page feeds, my girl is currently on Calm and Condition but will be switched to Power and Performance shortly (if she'll eat it). She has it with AlfaA and TopSpec balancer (half rations)

Alfa A oil and fibre beet plus adlib haylage. Extra oil when workload is very hard. They look great, have masses of energy/stamina and are not silly in the slightest on this. I did have them on Baileys lo-cal as well but I have dropped this without any ill effects.

Spillers slow release energy cubes and extra vits/mins if need be, Alfalfa and an extra drop of Linseed or Soya oil, plus good quality haylage.

2 scoops high fibre economy cubes, Alfa A original and a sprinkle of garlic flakes, she's young and looks really good on this, has wintered much better than last year. (she was on apple chaff and pasture mix last year with sugar beet) She did drop a bit of weight in December, but moved onto better hay ad lib and she's piled it back on. She can be silly and fresh but It's more to do with being a baby than her food.

I have a very good doer so cant feed too much hard feed and too many calories, hifi good doer, alfa beet and red cell. The red cel is the thing that gives the energy, better than oats or feed for my lad.
