well ive just bought a horse, very diff from my last, she comes later this week. but i was wondering if you could give me any advice on feeds.

shes a tb exracer, not long been of track and 3 yrs old, 16.2hh, has good weight covering at the min.

also ive previously read that there are feed helplines, does anyone know what companies do this too ??

I read a great article the other day that said you should feed as much fibre as possible (no starch or proteint to start with) and when turning out turn out for 3 hours then increase by half an hour every 2/3 days !!

they normally have gastric ulcers as fed a very high starch feed and they are kept in a lot so they will not understand just being put in a field !! x

oh well shes been turned out through the day, where shes kept now and in at night

will have a lok at baileys now.

any reccomendations for hi fibre feed ?
