from the end of this month he will be getting 3 feeds a day rather than 2.

hes a poor doer who is rather fizzy as well as fussy

at the moment he gets
am;
1 stubs scoop hifi
1/2 stubs scoop top line cubes
1/2 cup BOSS
1 1/2 stubs scoop fibre beet

pm;
2 stubs scoops hifi
1 stubs scoop top line cubes
1/2 cup BOSS
3 stubs scoops fibre beet

ad lib hay at night.

this will change to

1 stubs scoop hifi
1 stubs scoop top line cubes
1/2 cup BOSS
1 1/2 stubs scoops fibre beet

3 times a day with ad lib hay.

he doesnt eat his feeds if i put a vit/min supplement in & doesnt eat top spec/blue chip etc.

he does have a pink rock salt lick as well that he sometimes uses.

hes normally ridden 5 days a week for 1-3 hours at a time, mostly hacking, sometimes schooling.

do we think this is enough?

How about adding a balancer? (Sorry - don't know what BOSS is - may be a balancer?).

He looks quite well tbh, especially over his bottom, but his neck is rather poor - I'd want a bit more topline I think. He also needs some work to build up his neck?

He's a rather lovely sort though isn't he?

tried a few things in his feed before & he would not eat them, will be looking at other things to add to try though.

yes, his neck drives me mad, lack of school has meant we hack out, where he turns into a giraffe who spooks at his own shadow so you can never get him to work.

that should change from Feb , i hope

have you thought about the Winergy Equillibrium feeds? my lad is fussy, hard to keep weight on and intollerent to almost everything and I have struggled to find feed to suit him for 2 years... he is now on 3 kg Med Energy Equillibrium per day and nothing else (no supplements, balancers etc) and he is thriving, has good energy (ie he goes forwards not up or sideways) and is so much more settled in everything.... am sure they will send you a sample, when I applied for info from the website I got a voucher for a free bag to try it out....
