My ex racehorse has suddenly gone extremely fizzy. Her teeth have been checked and fine & she is not in any pain. I haven't changed her feed or routine at all. She is on fibre beet and lo-cal balancer. She hasn't moved fields and so is on the same grass. I was wondering if anyone had any views on switching her to cool calm and collected (Allen and Page) or any calmer that you would recommend as a last resort. Her behaviour has changed dramatically over the past 4 months and doesn't seem to be improving. All of a sudden extremely fizzy, strong and wanting to always gallop. Anyone have any ideas? She is 15 years old and only raced for a few months.

Not that I'm aware of. I guess it could be but never had any issues with it in the past. She isn't aggressive/moody or anything else. Just way too fizzy when riding. Will defiantly keep her seasons in mind though, thanks

The last four months is the grass growing season, and she probably changed from winter diet.
Test this effect by puting her back on stabling and soaked hay.
She is a TB and is suddenly fizzy, maybe she needs regular work, more regular work than she is getting.
Cut out any hard feed.
Trial on FEEDMARK STEADY UP FOR 5 weeks.
If this does not work call vet.
Calm and condition does not suit some horses, you could try Fast Fibre.
Also check tack
