Not slacking multitasking
Just thought I would give you an update on the above question I posted a couple of weeks ago for my 18yo welsh D good doer.
I did a bit more research and decided against just plain oats in the first instance due to the poss of upsetting the mineral balances.
I opted for spillers instant response, Mum's mare gets fed the slow release version of this and as they are balanced with eachbother I thought if I decided I needed more of a energy combination I could mix them.
Well at the moment (2 weeks in) I think good results
. It was hard to tell last week as it was rather windy which always helps but he jumped amazing on Sunday, despite leaving me with black eye
and has been much better so far this week, albeit it is bringing out the welsh spookiness a bit more! Started with a handful in the morning, is now getting a 1kg scoop worth once a day.
So yes atm, very happy, just hoping can keep the weight down while he is on it, but it is definitely to easier to get him to expend more energy now!
