Has anyone had any experience of feeding either tiger oats or dengie or bailys oats? My cob is so laid back all year round, but particularly through the summer, just thought of something to give her a little bit more energy as I want to start schooling her more, and she tends to be a bit lazy. I have tried lots of other methods to motivate her and she’s not as if she doesn’t want to be in the school, she’s just not engaged or forward (this is also the case out hacking). Any advice would be great, thanks.

I used to feed my boy naked oats for a bit of extra energey. He would have about 1 - 1/2 big scoops a day when he worked, and 1/2 a scoop on his days off. Obviously introduce gradually

Also, giving him a feed balancer rather than a vit/min supplement helped.

Naked oats are the best for energy without waight gain.

Thanks for that. I have been advised by some of the feeding companies to prehaps try a light competition mix. Anyone else used this?
