Feeding Oil Advice Needed....

Hi all,

Just wondering....does feeding oil as a supplement to improve coat shine make horses put on weight and/or fizzy? my mare is slightly overweight and I dont want to make her excitable....also, what what type of oil is the best to feed to improve skin and coat condition?

Oil is one of the best calorie providers so if you don't want her to put on weight then maybe find an alternative supplement.
